What a Star Cruise trip looks like
A short-sailing cruise is a different holiday from a land package: the ship is the destination and the ports are the excursions. Two or three nights is the usual length out of Singapore, which makes it easy to bolt on to a city stay.
What you are choosing is the cabin and the sailing, not an itinerary. Inside, ocean-view and balcony are three different prices for the same voyage, and the difference matters more on a short sailing where you are in the cabin less.
Shore excursions are booked separately and per port. We quote them alongside the fare so the total is clear before you commit.

Where you actually go
Singapore
The usual embarkation port, and worth a night before the sailing rather than a same-day flight.

The Malaysian embarkation option on some sailings, an hour from Kuala Lumpur.

A common port call: George Town’s shophouses and street food within a day ashore.

A Thai call on the longer sailings, with the beaches close to the pier.

A UNESCO-listed strait port, called at on shorter Malaysian routes.

The day the ship is the destination: pools, decks and the theatre.

Are the prices per person?+
We quote per person on twin sharing, and we quote per enquiry rather than publishing a rate. Prices move with your travel dates, the cabin category and availability on the day you book. A published number would be wrong for most people who read it.
Can I change the cabin or the sailing?+
Yes, up to the point of booking. Tell us what you want changed (a different cabin category, a different deck, an earlier or later sailing) and we requote it before anything is confirmed.
Is the visa included?+
It depends on the embarkation country and every port the sailing calls at. We confirm the full set for your specific sailing and passport before you pay anything.
When is the best time to go?+
Year round; the calmest seas are outside the monsoon months. Travelling outside that window is usually cheaper, and we will tell you honestly what you would be trading away.
What do you need to confirm the booking?+
